Match Play Team Competition
The Minnesota Public Golf Association (MPGA) sponsors summer long Match Play Team Competitions for MPGA member clubs.
All matches are played under Four Ball match play rules (see USGA Rule 23 - Four Ball).
Team members play their better ball against the better ball of their opponents, in match play competition, using no handicaps. One point is awarded for winning each nine hole stipulated round, and one point for winning the total 18 hole stipulated round with a maximum of three points awarded in each match. USGA rules as well as applicable local rules govern play.
